Elections are the Bedrock of our Republic’s Democracy
Voting Machine Issue
The Board of Elections claims a lack of voting machines caused the problems experienced during the 2020 NYS primaries. This is patently false! It’s an excuse to buy more dangerous, hackable ICE machines at a cost of $4.5 million
In ‘19, all polling places were open with enough machines!
There are over 1,400 voting machines in inventory
Westchester is facing up to a $250 million deficit
Vote by mail in NYS is imminent by 2022
If the legislators vote NO to approving this $4.5 million, the Board of Elections says they will go to the NYS BoE to buy the machines and bill back the county. Learn more here
Call your Legislator to refute the BoE argument and VOTE NO! Find your Legislator here.
Have Trouble Voting in the Primary?
Westchester was plagued by systemic problems, start to finish and election laws were violated
Lack of timely communications of poll locations
Incorrect poll locations on voter postcards
Absentee ballots received too late to vote
Lines across the county on 6/23 (up to 4 hours!)
Polls improperly supplied
Incorrect ballots given to some voters
Ballots in the wrong language
