Why Does NY have outdated voting laws?

Voting laws that make it harder for New Yorkers to vote. But we're a blue state! Yes, even though we're a blue state, New York is in the category of the most difficult in which to vote. Easy Elections NY is focused on the following five election reforms:

  1. Early Voting

  2. Automatic Voter Registration

  3. Flexibility to Change Party Affiliation

  4. Electronic Poll Books

  5. Restoring Voting Rights for People on Parole

It's time to give this issue some serious Indivisible Attention! And right now there are two bills stuck in the Senate Rules Committee. Time to tell our New York State Senate to take S2950 and S2788 to the Senate floor for a vote!
